JacobAureus Firecracker (aka Jacob) was bred by Dr Peter Collin. Jacob came to live with me in August 2015 as a wee kitten and as you can see, he has grown into a beautiful boy!
Jacob is a big, cuddly, friendly boy who enjoys playing and getting lots of attention! His favourite toys are a laser light and a "tickling stick"! Jacob's mother was imported from New Zealand and his pedigree includes cats from both New Zealand and Australia. This is good news for the gene pool of the breed. Jacob is wonderfully patient and gentle with his lady friends and has now produced over ten fabulous litters. See more info below. Jacob is at stud to approved and tested GCCF Active registered queens. Please contact me for details. To see his pedigree, please click here His credentials...
Jacob has been tested Hypokalaemia negative by Langford University and has subsequently tested negative for Felv & FIV. Jacob's DNA test shows that he is a brown based red, carrying chocolate. He has a GCCF certificate of entirety. Jacob is at stud to FeLV/FIV negative queens (by prior agreement) who are on the GCCF Active Register. Queens' owners must provide evidence of their HK status, be fully vaccinated and up to date with their booster vaccinations. Please contact me for more details. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), the health of my cats is of paramount importance to me and as a member of the GCCF Responsible Breeder Scheme, I am supported by my local veterinary practice and I adhere to the GCCF guidelines for breeders. I live in Northwich, Cheshire. You can contact me by email vintarnburmese@yahoo.com |
Jacob's House
Jacob has a light and spacious house which has washable rubber flooring throughout the covered outdoor run and the indoor quarters. The outdoor run is fitted with 'storm panels' to keep him warm and dry. The panels are removed in fine weather to keep the run cool. There is heating, a radio, electric lighting, power points and heated beds are available to ensure he and his visiting queens are nice and comfortable, whatever the weather. The house is fitted with its own CCTV camera, so I can monitor Jacob and his lady visitors from my iPad, phone or computer. Latest News - I've recently moved to a bungalow and Jacob is going to have a fabulous house and run built which will be ready in October 2019. Watch this space! |
Jacob's kittens
Jacob's first litter of seven beautiful kittens were born on 29/09/2016 (photo on left). Four girls and a three boys, to Champion Vintarn Lilac Lyra.
Jacob's second litter of five adorable kittens were born on 26/01/2017 (photo on right). Four boys and one girl, to Champion Velvet Revolution.
Jacob has sired many fabulous litters of kittens - you might see some of them at a cat show!
His latest litter is due in January 2019.
Jacob is available for stud to approved GCCF Registered Felv/FIV & HK tested negative queens.
